New Bottle Depot Hours
Looking for more convenient hours to recycle? Before work? After work? Sunday?
- Plus I (by the Eco Centre) Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 - 4:00 Commercial Orders, Power Plus, Bottle Donation & Bottle Drives Only (please call ahead 780-539-0871)
- Plus II (on Resources Road) Sunday 11:00AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through to Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. PLEASE No Unsorted Orders after 4:00. Call 780-830-3648 for more information.
Bottle Deposit Amounts Increase
As of
November 1, 2008, pop, juice, beer, wine and spirit containers deposit rates will increase. The deposits on all beverage containers will increase to 10 cents for containers with a capacity of one litre or less, and 25 cents for containers greater than one litre.
Milk Containers Accepted
As of
June 1, 2009 the deposit and option to return milk containers will be available to Alberta Bottle Depots. Containers sold before June 1, 2009 will not be applicable for refund and will be marked differently than previous containers.
